2010 Lunge Line Competition for 2 year old mustangs

2010 Lunge Line Competition. Slap Jack placed 2nd OVERALL and did AWESOME!! We won $750! He had a beautiful collected slow trot and slow lope! He was the only horse that used the full length of his lunge line and with control!! He looked like a million dollars!! I love my boy and now he is fully mine as we got his title afterwards!! YEAH!! 2nd PLACE IN LUNGE LINE

2009 MUSTANG MAKEOVER Yearling edition, Murfreesboro,TN

2009 EXTREME MUSTANG MAKEOVER Yearling Edition, Murfreesboro, TN Slap Jack and me placed 5th in body condition, 8th in hand trail 7th place OVERALL 10th place in FREESTYLE. We kind of had a flop of a routine in freestyle because I didn't get to do my original routine that would have really wowed the crowd. Originally, I planned to ride Slap Jack bareback and stand on his back. I was told last minute this was not allowed so I didn't have anything else interesting enough to wow the crowd planned. That is OK! I know Slap Jack was the most awesome yearling there even if no one else did!!

Week Before the 2009 TN Mustang Competition

Here is Slap Jack and me the week before our big competition in Murfreesboro! Can't wait to show everyone what my sweet mustang has accomplished over the past 83 days! Can you believe this horse was wild and untouchable only 2 1/2 months ago? Slap Jack has a beautiful slow lope and he lets me ride on a nice loose rein!

Day 20 My sidekick "Yella"

Below are pictures of me and "Yella" and his very first ride as a 2 year old back in 2008. Spectacyella is a 3 year old grandson of Mr Yella Fella and is my favorite horse ever. I was 13 years old when I started "Yella"s training. Yella has taught me much more than I could ever teach him and has prepared me well for the challenge of training Slap Jack. Not only that, but he has been a wonderful role model and example to Slap Jack. I am so very proud of both my boys!!
